Old Dutch are the views over the polders and windmills from the island of Koudenhoorn. Plenty of terraces, both on the island and in the old village centre. The route ‘Walking through historic Warmond’ (8.5 km) passes through the national park ‘the Dutch Dunes’. Hire a sloop to view the bulb-growing region from the water or take a trip past the many mills and farms in the polders.
