This is Katwijk's best-known and most touristic beach and is located right next to the village. At this wide and clean beach, you will find numerous beach pavilions and shops.

Noordduinen strand

Park your car at the Noordduinen car park and visit the beach north of Katwijk. This beach is quieter and surrounded by beautiful dunes where you can fully relax.

Zuidduinen strand

This beach is the link between Katwijk and Wassenaar and is especially popular among water sports enthusiasts. Due to its proximity to restaurants and shops, this beach is often pleasantly crowded.

Visit surrounding villages and towns

Sure! If you travel by train to Leiden, from here you can easily hop on a bus towards Katwijk. Bus lines 30 and 31 take you directly to Katwijk aan Zee, with several stops close to our holiday homes. Travel time from Leiden Central to Katwijk takes around 20 to 30 minutes.
