Built in 1642, Keukenhof Castle stands on a beautiful, historic 240-hectare estate.
The castle is beautifully decorated, with some rooms lined with sumptuous gold leather.
The collection within the castle is unique and includes beautiful furniture, portraits, and a special display of Chinese and Japanese porcelain, displayed in a 17th-century manner in a purpose-built cabinet.
The vast gardens surrounding the castle regularly host art exhibitions. During Dahlia Days in August, numerous varieties of dahlias can be admired in the beautiful castle gardens, which are in full bloom.
The estate also has an adorable petting zoo for the little ones.
Directly opposite the castle is the world-famous spring park Keukenhof, which attracts visitors from all over the world.
Keukenhof Castle opens its doors to the public several times a year, including on special occasions such as Monument Day and Castle Day, offering a unique opportunity to admire the splendour of both the interior and the gardens.
